Every council page, comparison and ranking now shows the 2026-27 council tax year — the bill you are actually paying — verified against the official MHCLG figures published in March 2026. County council precepts follow once their own tables are verified, and are clearly labelled until then.

Band D council tax updated to 2026-27 for all 296 billing authorities

Every figure is labelled with its tax year — no mixed years anywhere

Bill history charts now run to 2026-27

Rankings and comparisons recalculated on 2026-27 rates

A clearer, friendlier data licence: quote any figure, embed any widget, free
